“Be the change you want to see in the world” – Gandhi

I am a creative person, not just by merit, but in fact, in spirit. And like every true creative person, I too want to change things for the better.

The first decade of the 21st century has brought in a lot of cynicism the world over. While we all did our bit to create a better life for ourselves and our loved ones, while we all tried to make a difference, the most resounding sentiment echoing in our times is – “You either have to be an asshole or plain lucky to make it big in life.”

I want to change this.

We only get to know people who make it big in life, once they have already made it big in life. And then we judge them basis hearsay; we never fully really know what they’ve been through and what’s the real story. Until, they publish their biographies that are always retrofits to the success story.

Success is always right.

I am a ‘nobody’ today. And by that definition I must not be doing the right things. But because I know that I’m going to make it big, I want to document this journey.

I don’t want to be someone who looks back at life and says, “Aah, I did the right things…” I want to be someone who looks ahead in life, and says, “I AM doing the right things.”

This is my social experiment. This is my Blog.

I’ve started writing this at a point when I could have sold my soul. I chose to walk away from it. And for that I have suffered.

Today I’m at a starting point with absolutely no reason to believe that my dream will come true. And that’s the beauty of it.

True belief is – when the reason is You, just yourself.

The day I get to my dream, I will move on to my next phase, leaving this blog to testify that human progress is still about human values.

That, you don’t have to be lucky or an asshole to make it really big in life.

Goodness, Guts and Glory.
